She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. When she was 16, she left school to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy grew up as an actor and was sure she would eventually become one. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
