Her roles include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 program Point Pleasant, and Marcy playing a character on Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar played Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar also played Cindy Thomas, the ABC TV show Women's Murder Club's main character between 2007 and 2008. Dollar starred on The 2012 NBC Happy Valley pilot which wasn't taken up.
